Worried About Nothing

Jesus knew we would be tempted to focus on things so he reminded us, "So I tell you to stop worrying about what you will eat or wear. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothes" (Luke 121:22-23). Rather than owrry about clothes, cars, or other material things, God wants us to spend our energy thinking about ways to serve him. When we spend our energy thinking about God, he promises to satisfy our other need...God, when I start to worry about earthly things, remind me to use my energy to build your kingdom instead.
