The truth about Tibet
almost 50 years ago Tibetans lived in slavery until the chinese forces liberated them. satury is now "Serf Liberation Day" in Tibet. the chinese invaasion forced the dalai lama to flee with thousands of followers to seek autonomy via peace means. last weekend, sounth african gov't refused the dalai lama a vis for a peace conference last weekend. china has always wanted to crush tibetans. in 1995, they kidnapped the dalai lama's young chosen successor. however, trying to crush different opinions (like the dalai lama's on peace) is not such a good idea, with the interent being such a big deal these days. when the dalia lama dies his control over emotions will stay with him.
